How succesful are hair transplant procedures? Do these procedure leave any marks on the scalp?

i've only recently heard it being advertized; however an old client of mine (he moved to HI.) had it done. it looked great after about 5 or 6 treatments, but had to wait at least 6 months between treatments. he had to be very careful of his stitches because he sweats a lot and it would become infected.

the way his was done (take into concideration this was over 10 years ago) was a one inch section (of skin and hair) was removed from the back, a slice was made on the top for the one inch section to be placed. then the back was pulled down and stapled or stitched.

are you asking for a brain transplant. that might be good for you, considering how dumb you are

Should I get a hair transplant?

It's thining really bad in the front. Vote for the transplant, yes or no.

Should I get a hair transplant?

Well, if I was in ur position, I would get it before it got too bad. Becuase then people would know the big change and will always ask u. So if its just the start, then go for it.

Should I get a hair transplant?

no just use castor oil with almond oil

Should I get a hair transplant?

No

Should I get a hair transplant?

yes

Should I get a hair transplant?

no, hair transplants look weird and fake

Should I get a hair transplant?

No, no, no.

Instead, dramatically increase your time spent on yoga/exercise. Your extra fitness/buffness will remind you that you can control so things and others are left to luck.

Yoga will improve both your physical and mental health. I'm partial to running and weightlifting also, but any other form of exercise will also will make you feel better for yourself.

I know the technology has changed dramatically for this procedure, but here is a tale of two friends that did this. One gentleman had four procedures done, yet you could still see where the hair was sewn into the scalp. Cost: $16,000!

Another, only got two treatments, and he still has little coverage. He only paid in the $4,000 range.

In short, it's obvious both men had the transplansts and yet they still look as if they are bald or balding.

Again, give yourself some other healthy attention with exercise and yoga.

Should I get a hair transplant?

No dude, it looks horrific, a few friends of mine had it done, go bald gracfully and shave it

Should I get a hair transplant?

what?

Should I get a hair transplant?

no don't bother. I've never seen one that looked good. Some of the sexiest men in the world are bald. Look at Sean Connery, the guy that plays the admiral in JAG, Phil Collins, nothing wrong with being bald, just do not go for a comb over, that does look ridiculous.

Should I get a hair transplant?

Yes!

If you're tired of being bald hair restoration is a great alternative. It really works. I had on done back in July and have kept a blog at BattleAgainstBald.com documenting the success of my surgery.

Best of luck to you!

Hair Transplant surgery has become very common now. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

How does a hair Transplant basically work?

Does the hair still really grow?

How does a hair Transplant basically work?

If you and your doctor have determined that hair transplants are the best option for you, you can feel comfortable knowing that board-certified plastic surgeons have been successfully performing this type of procedure for more than thirty years.

If you're considering hair replacement surgery, this brochure will give you a basic understanding of the variety of procedures involved. It can't answer all of your questions, since a lot depends on your individual circumstances. Ask your surgeon if there is anything you don't understand about the procedure you plan to have.

It's important to understand that all hair replacement techniques use your existing hair. The goal of surgery is to find the most efficient uses for existing hair.

Hair replacement candidates must have healthy hair growth at the back and sides of the head to serve as donor areas. Donor areas are the places on the head from which grafts and flaps are taken. Other factors, such as hair color, texture and waviness or curliness may also affect the cosmetic result. There are a number of techniques used in hair replacement surgery. Sometimes, two or more techniques are used to achieve the best results.

Transplant techniques, such as punch grafts, mini-grafts, micro-grafts, slit grafts, and strip grafts are generally performed on patients who desire a more modest change in hair fullness. Flaps, tissue-expansion and scalp-reduction are procedures that are usually more appropriate for patients who desire a more dramatic change.

good luck

How safe is hair transplant surgery???

any medicine that can help hair growth??

How safe is hair transplant surgery???

Ask for references before comitting to any clinic. Hair transplantation is generally quite low risk as each hair is individually moved from another part of your body to your scalp. Its basically micro surgery.

Have you tried minoxidil based hair loss treatments like Rogaine? There are also herbal alternatives like Nisim New Hair Biofactors.

Is 18 too young to recieve a minor hair transplant?

I am an 18 year old male and the corners of my hairline have receded about 3/4-1 inch leaving me with a kind of U shaped hairline. I hate the way it looks and I refuse to shave my head so I am wondering if a surgeon would perform a hairtransplant on someone as young as me. The rest of my hair is still thick and I dont have any thinning so I don't see myself going bald within the next 20 years or so. And don't tell me to just live with it because I cant (yes i am aware the I am very vain)

Is 18 too young to recieve a minor hair transplant?

I'm not sure professionally, but in my opinion 18 is too young. If your hair is long why don't you style it with a messy but sexy style to hide your hairline? Here's a link to a picture of what I mean...

Is 18 too young to recieve a minor hair transplant?

I wouldn't do it right now for a couple reasons. The first is if you have started losing it already your going to be in bad shape by the time your twenty five. The second reason is the cost. I've heard it's like $50.00 a hair. That may be wrong, it stopped me. Heath insurance will not cover it. Last if you do the Rogain thing and make it till your 25 or 30 you may only have to do it once instead of two or three times.

Hey do what makes you happy and FUDGE everyone else!

Needs advice about hair transplant?

dont even think about doing it ok !!............in twenty years time you will loook a freak .......... there are drugs out now if you want to keep it ........expensive but ............just look at michael jackson ..........has more money that you can dream about ....look what they did to him ...........accept the hand of cards you have been given !!!

Needs advice about hair transplant?

Man- what terrible advice you have gotten so far. I've been through it, and I can tell you that the right doctor can make a hair transplant look totally natural. Today they don't look like those garbage ones from 20 years ago. If you are thinning out and its ruining your self confidence, then do it. There are probably better sites you can get info from, but here's my doctor's site (decent website, great physician):

I am almost 21, and have suffered severe hair loss since I was 18. I am looking to get a surgical hair transplant soon. But I want it to be an actual, truthful place I go to - I don't want some jerk taking my cash and ruining my scalp. What can you guys recommend? Who is the best, regardless of price?

I live in Ft. Lauderdale, by the way, for reference when you suggest your surgeons/clinics.

Thanks!!!
