Is a hair transplant really permanent?

I have seen a lot of guys who are even thinning on the backs of their scalp and the sides (I have thinned a bit in both areas in my 20s!).

How can a hair transplant be advertised as permanent if this donor hair supply is not really permanent?

Typically, hair in the donor area is permanent on most men suffering from male pattern baldness. However, there are other forms of Alopecia not linked to male pattern baldness, which are known to inhibit a more drastic loss of hair, sometimes affecting your whole head. If you think you might be suffering from a more serious form of Alopecia I suggest you consult a physician.

As for hair restoration surgery, you can find out everything you want to know at my blog, BattleAgainstBald.com. I underwent a Bosley hair transplantation back in July and have since kept a blog documenting the procedures success. In addition to video and pictures I provide a plethora of information on hair loss and the methods to combat it.

Best of luck to you in your battle!
